Dr. Davis received her Ph.D. from The Graduate School and University Center, CUNY in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. Dr. Davis was a post-doctoral fellow for four years in the laboratory of Dr. Atanu Duttaroy at Howard University. She studied aging and molecular genetics and used Drosophila melanogaster as the model system. Dr. Davis joined the Department of Biology as a Term Assistant Professor in January 2012 and teaches undergraduate cell biology and genetics. In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Davis also serves as the Math and Science Accelerator for Department of Biology.
