Dr. Tondi received her Ph.D. in Physiology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1993. Her research focused on the response of the cardiovascular system to exercise training. She initially worked as a consultant for Clement International Corporation, which was later renamed to ICF Consulting. Her work included analysis of the health effects of various types and durations of exposure to potentially toxic chemicals for agencies such as the EPA and the FDA. Dr. Tondi has taught Anatomy & Physiology courses at George Mason as an Adjunct Professor from 1992-2009, and as an Assistant Professor since 2010. These courses include BIOL 124, BIOL 125, BIOL 425, BIOL 430 and BIOL 431. She currently serves as the coordinator for A&P courses within the Department of Biology.
