Research Semester


The Undergraduate Biology Program proudly announces the Fall 2012 Research Semester.


Undergraduate Biology majors may earn 15 upper division credits through a combination of BIOL 499: Research in Biology (9 credits), BIOL 498: Research Seminar (2 credits) and BIOL 314: Introduction to Research Design and Analysis (4 credits). BIOL 314 and 498 will be offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings on the Prince William campus. During the remainder of the week, students will be free to pursue research with a member of the GMU faculty. Students will be expected to devote a minimum of 27 hours per week to their research projects.
