Allison Tomson completed a Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University in 2010 and a Masters of Arts in Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University in 2013. Her research focused mainly on the effects of the aging process and the circadian clock on adult neurogenesis in zebrafish. She taught Anatomy and Physiology I and II as an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College as well as the BIOL 430/431 Anatomy and Physiology labs at George Mason University. She is currently a Term Instructor of Anatomy and Physiology at George Mason University where she teaches the BIOL 124/ 125 lecture class and the BIOL 430/ 431 lab classes as well as BMED 605 Intro to Human Anatomy for the ABS Certificate Program at the GMU Science and Technology campus in Prince William county. She also coordinates the cadaver lab and performs the dissection for Northern Virginia Community College – Medical Education Campus.
